Yab – Yum comes from Tibetan Tantrism and means “Father -Mother”
\nIt is a meditative position that we can find in Tibet as well as in North-Indian Kashmir and in Taoism of China and Japan and the rest of India.<\/p>\n

It symbolizes the essence of Tantrism and is a metaphor for the great union …<\/p>\n

I am on the same level with my Shiva …
\nBetween earth and sky …
\nHeart to Heart…
\nSometimes sexually united …
\nNevertheless, it is not a se x. position, as it is often assumed in the Western World…<\/p>\n

Shiva is waiting for me in the lotus position …
\nShakti comes to him when she is ready ….
\nI approach him slowly…
\nas smooth as a snake I wrap my legs around him …
\nlet me down slowly and consciously on his lap …
\nAnd close the circuit with my feet on his sacrum … the head of his serpent …<\/p>\n

Shiva absorbs the earth energy through his G-spot into his prostate … that creates light sparks … energizes his lingam … He lets the energy flow further into my Yoni, where it unites with my energy and rises through all our chakras …
\nIn order to be able to offer his masculine energy through his lingam, he must first open himself to the earth energy and thus to his female side … to find unity within himself …<\/p>\n

The non-dualistic aspect of all Tantrism finds its culmination in Yab-Yum …
\nMan – Woman
\nShiva-Shakti
\nMasculine-Feminine
\nYang – Yin
\nSky – Earth
\nConsciousness-Energy
